September 24, 2024 – Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: GMC announced that the world’s first all-electric super truck, the GMC HUMMER EV had arrived to the region. Now a special edition of the super truck, set to send desirability into orbit, will be exclusively available in Saudi Arabia.
GMC will introduce the HUMMER EV Omega Edition, available in the Kingdom only. The limited-edition vehicle with interstellar style to stand out on city streets and capability to conquer extreme off-road trails. Further elevating the GMC HUMMER EV lineup, the eye-catching Omega Edition features a limited Neptune Blue Matte1 exterior paint color that sets GMC HUMMER EV among the stars and will soon light up the roads of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, exclusively.

The Omega Edition evolves the GMC HUMMER EV story and its space-themed inspiration. A theme that influenced the GMC HUMMER EV’s design and engineering teams from inception to production as they created this ‘moonshot’ vehicle, with the endless expanses of space reflecting the boundless inspiration for what was possible with the world’s first electric supertruck. Now with Omega Edition, designers took inspiration from deep into the solar system; the Blue Planet, to create the stunning and unique Neptune Blue Matte1 paint that sets this latest GMC HUMMER EV apart.
In terms of hardware, the Extreme Off-Road Package for both the GMC HUMMER EV Pickup and SUV includes UltraVision with underbody camera views2, additional skid plates and rocker protection with built-in assist steps, 18-inch wheels and 35-inch Mud Terrain tires.
Aside from all these bespoke features, the GMC HUMMER EV Omega edition will be equipped with advanced technologies and features such as industry-leading fast-charge capabilities and ULTIUM battery platform, the delivering more than 540Km of range (GM estimate) on a full charge. The GMC HUMMER EV offers best-in-class 1,000 horsepower, and 11,500 lb.-ft. of torque (15,591 Nm), generated by three separate motors to give its e4WD system remarkable on- and off-road capabilities.
Additional features include Adaptive Air Suspension hardware and Extract Mode enable the suspension height to be raised approximately 149 mm (6 inches) to help the GMC HUMMER EV negotiate extreme off-road situations such as sand dunes, clearing boulders or fording water.
It is also equipped with Terrain Mode and One-Pedal Driving control. Its One-Pedal Driving mode can slow the vehicle to a full stop by just depressing the accelerator pedal providing very fine control, while Terrain Mode uniquely integrates the brake system with One-Pedal Driving, giving the driver precise control while off-roading and rock crawling. Regen on Demand on the other hand can slow the vehicle to a full stop through a dedicated steering wheel mounted paddle, regenerated energy is fed back into the battery optimizing its range capabilities.
Another highlight is the 4 Wheel Steer which features industry-leading CrabWalk – this allows the rear and front wheels to steer at the same angle at low speeds, enabling diagonal movement of the vehicle, for even greater maneuverability on challenging terrain.
Another unique feature of the GMC HEV is the Watts to Freedom, a driver-selectable experience that unleashes the full acceleration capability of the EV propulsion system, including GM-estimated 0-100 kmh performance in approximately 3 seconds on the Supertruck and 3.5 seconds on the SUV model.
The SUV will be offered with a standard 20-module battery. The Pickup will be offered with a 24-module battery option.
