Aljomaih Automotive Sponsors the 9th Riyadh Economic Forum

Aljomaih Automotive participated as a diamond sponsor in the 9th Riyadh Economic Forum, which was held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at the Hilton Hotel in Riyadh on 21-23 January 2020. This edition is particularly important as the national economy undergoes several transformations to restructure and build a broader and a more dynamic economic base that depends on the diversity and optimal utilization of the kingdom's natural and human resources, and the integration of innovation and knowledge into the production system.

Saudi Arabia relied on the forum to play a prominent role as a research center for strategic thinking to support economic decision-making by creating future forecasts; discussing and identifying current economic and development issues; developing studies and formulating recommendations which support the national transformation program and the Saudi Vision 2030.

The forum’s main objectives were to study and analyze issues that affect the national economy; define the private sector’s role in restructuring and diversifying the national

economy by utilizing national resources; pinpoint, analyze and overcome economic growth obstacles; suggest practical solutions to help facilitate the decision-making process; effectuate the principle of deliberation and participation among the various economic sectors of the society.

The forum discussed five main points that have a direct impact on the Kingdom's economy, namely: the role of balanced development in encouraging reverse migration and achieving sustainable and comprehensive development in the Kingdom's regions; future jobs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the role of the non-profit sector in economic and social development; environmental issues and their impact on economic and social development in the Kingdom; financial reforms and their impact on economic development in the Kingdom.
